I recently found a wonderful new source of inspiration in the Bé Chic Forever youtube channel.
Check out these screen grabs from the end table and luxury bathroom videos.
The end table video explores three way to make decadent coffee tables to coordinate with the luxurious tufted living room suite which, of course, goes perfectly with this amazing posh bathroom. (A gold toilet seat is so cool but so is the potty itself!).
If your dollies are craving a little chic in their lives, don’t miss the Bé Chic Forever youtube channel!
Go check out the channel and look for these awesome videos too:
Saturday is the Women’s March on Washington. I confess, I am not going. I have been unable to participate in most extended outdoor activities since I had my life threatening pneumonia several years ago. I know several people who are going and others who have been busy knitting hats for the day.
The original people sized pattern can be found here. If you don’t know about the hats, check out the host site for Pussyhats here. These beautiful hats feature ears like pussycats and are designed to show solidarity with woman’s issues. According to their hat tracker, hats have been sent in from all over the country – how cool is that?
If your dolls would like to participate too, you can make your own mini hat using a free pattern from Natalie Scrimshire on ravelry found here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/pussyhat-project-for-dolls#.
Since I don’t want to share any photos without authorization, here is a photoshopped image of Kiki trying on a virtual hat from the activist’s flyer so you have some idea what these look like!
Strictly Homemade has a fabulous pajama tutorial for fleecy pjs (shown above, photo links to blog).

I’m a bit frustrated that I’m still not working on the doll room although it is highly important that my people house is functioning as it is just now. I am able to keep a little more current on my favorite blogs though so that’s good.
Did you see Anna’s post at Doll Diaries this morning? I love her creativity and professional appearance of her finished products. I won’t spoil what she posted; you have to go look but here’s a hint (if the post title and above image wasn’t enough):
I was scrolling up and down my links spreadsheet and realized I have a ton of free sweater patterns. Even though the snow is melting here on the easy coast, you might still have some quiet time to work while catching up on your tv shows (Rehab Addict is new this week!). Above photo from Kathleen Taylor’s blog (image links to pattern).
As always, if you find a broken or missing link, please post a comment so we all know and feel free to add your own links below too!
There are quite a few free pants patterns out there. SewAdollable‘s photo above links to their take. Here are some more:
